Home/Referrals
Professional Referrals.
Ripple Path Services accepts referrals from professionals, organizations, and others involved in an individual's support network. Send referral information by email. We acknowledge referrals within two business days and communicate regarding appropriate next steps.
Who refers
Professionals working directly with Whatcom County families.
Schools
Counselors, special education staff, and district liaisons working with a student who needs more sustained attention than a school can provide.
Healthcare providers
Pediatricians, therapists, and care coordinators who can see a household under strain before it reaches crisis.
Attorneys
Family law and dependency counsel whose clients need documented support on record for a young person involved in a matter.
Agencies
Caseworkers and behavioral health agencies referring a family for support outside their own scope or ahead of funded services.
Courts and guardians ad litem
Court staff and guardians seeking documented, professionally delivered support for a family.
Community organizations
Organizations already working with Whatcom County families who need a program they do not run themselves.
The process
Four steps, with defined timing.
Send what you have
Write to info@ripplepathservices.com with the family's circumstances and what you think would help. Partial information is fine.
We acknowledge
Within two business days you receive confirmation and an honest answer about whether this is a fit.
We contact the family
We reach out directly to discuss what they need, how a program would work, and how it would be funded.
We report back
With the family's written consent, you receive confirmation of enrollment and documented progress at agreed intervals.
When we are not the answer
If a referral falls outside what we provide, whether by age, geography, or because it requires clinical treatment, we will tell you within two business days and name an organization that does provide it. Holding a family in an intake process that was never going to conclude helps nobody.
Confidentiality
Information you share is used to assess fit and coordinate support. It is not disclosed outside Ripple Path Services without the family's consent, except where Washington law requires it. Reporting progress back to you requires the family's written authorization, which we obtain at intake.
