Who we hire

Direct-care staff hold a bachelor's degree in social services or early childhood education, relevant professional experience, or lived experience with foster care, kinship care, or the developmental disability system — or some combination of the three. We weigh real-world capability alongside formal credentials, and do not require a degree where experience demonstrates the same readiness.

How we train

Every staff member completes all Washington State–required training for their role, plus the Ripple Method: our internal training curriculum required of every employee, regardless of position. The Ripple Method covers our operating values, safety protocols, mandatory reporting, documentation standards, and population-specific knowledge for the families and youth each role serves.

Why lived experience carries weight here

For roles working directly with youth, candidates who have been through foster care or the developmental disability system themselves are given hiring priority. If that describes you, say so in your application.

How to apply

Send a resume and cover letter to careers@ripplepathservices.com, indicating which position interests you. Applications are reviewed as they arrive.
